If you’ve been following the newsletter and site, you’ll recognize that my site previously had a free trade tracker and a paid ranking and mock draft service. The idea here is that I want to create a place for passionate dynasty fantasy football players to come together and rank, mock and tier. It’s difficult to track everything going on in the NFL, let alone college, with hundreds of teams and thousands of players. The changes to the site look to bridge that gap and make more detailed analysis available to dynasty players.

I’ll be keeping my weekly Monday article reserved for all-things-dynasty! But I’ll also be adding a Thursday article/video drop that will link to a YouTube video where I break down my current Top 24 Players for the 2027 Rookie Class. This is an experiment, but it aims to provide a more live view of how the current college football landscape is shaping the players and pick values of 2027. My hope is that it will help my viewers strategize about which picks to buy/sell, but if I’m being honest, any Top 24 pick is going to have serious value. It will be nice to familiarize yourself with players and hear about which ones are rising and falling in the ranks.

Jeremiah Smith

Jeremiah Smith wasted no time in re-establishing his connection with Julian Sayin. He went off for 8 catches, 151 yards, 2 TDs and at least 1 end zone Heisman pose. If it’s not clear why most fantasy sites are calling Smith the undisputed 1.01 in superflex rookie drafts, it likely will be over the course of the next month!

KJ Duff

Here’s an olive branch to the Rutgers faithful that are struggling to deal with their recent devastating loss to UMass. KJ Duff looked like one of the most dominant WRs in the country in the losing effort. He had 9 catches, 196 yards and 3 TDs against the outmatched UMass secondary. Duff can win against any DB in the country due to his freakish size and ball skills at 6’6”. He is one of the more intriguing WRs in the nation who can threaten the back half of the first round of 2027 rookie drafts.

Reed Harris

Reed Harris transferred from BC to ASU and wasted no time getting in sync with the other transfer portal talent the Sun Devils acquired. He went for 6 catches, 137 yards and 2 TDs as ASU buried an overmatched Morgan State team. He looks to be fitting in nicely, as he is doing it all for the squad, including throwing ridiculous blocks in the run game. Harris and his teammate Omarion Miller are firmly on the radar as top 30 rookie picks in 2027 rookie drafts.

Malachi Toney

Toney has a firm grasp on the crown as the top prize in 2028 rookie drafts. He set the Miami receiving record for yardage in the 3rd quarter of the Hurricanes’ opener and finished with 234 receiving yards on 12 catches for 3 TDs vs Stanford. The Mensah-Toney connection proved unstoppable, and Toney is deservedly getting Heisman buzz after his record-setting Week 1.

Mason Heintschel

The box score for Heintschel this week has some video game numbers. He threw 7 passing touchdowns as Pitt thrashed Miami (OH). Heintschel is only a sophomore, but he flashed in nearly all of his starts as a rookie. If any sophomore QB in the country is going to make a Heisman case this year, my money would be on Heintschel. His 2028 stock will continue to soar if he puts up more performances like this.

Kamari Moulton

Iowa has a rich history at the TE position with a few quality RBs sprinkled in. Moulton ripped off two long TD runs vs Northern Illinois that went for 37 and 50 yards apiece. Moulton will need to sustain his solid play vs higher-caliber competition, but his big-play ability has started to turn the heads of NFL scouts.

Faizon Brandon

The true freshman 5-star recruit won the starting job in camp, and he had a memorable debut. He threw for 3 TDs and added 2 with his legs as Tennessee dispatched an outmatched Furman team. The most encouraging sign from a fantasy perspective is the pinpoint accuracy Brandon displayed. If he can be a true dual threat that NFL offenses can trust, then he will be a coveted asset once he’s draft eligible. He has a long way to go to prove it against SEC competition, but Week 1 was a strong start.

Trent Mosley

Mosley has been doing his best Malachi Toney impression to start this college season. Through the 2 games he has played, he has put up 222 yards receiving and forced a league-leading 6 missed tackles. Of course, his raw stats are inflated from the Week 0 matchup, but it’s still incredible that a true freshman in USC’s loaded WR room could be doing this much damage early on. Mosley is the best freshman WR in the nation right now.

Legend Glasker

Not far behind Mosley is a legend in his own right, Legend Glasker. Quick aside on legends, there is a running back on USC named Legend Bey… there are two Legends in my top 12 2029 draft-eligible rankings.

I digress, Legend caught 3 passes for 2 TDs this past weekend. When I asked a friend who attended the BYU-Utah Tech game in person, he singled out Glasker as a standout on the BYU Cougar offense. He seems dynamic in the open field, and I would not be surprised if he continues to reel in TDs via the Bear Bachmeier connection.
