Final Top 24 Rookie Rankings Post NFL Draft

Regularly scheduled programming on dynasty rookie drafts resumes now. Here are my top 24 players in tiers

Jeanty Stands Alone. But 2-7 has some serious talent.

Jeanty is the obvious choice to go 1.01 in every rookie draft. He seems poised for a ridiculous carry count with the Raiders.

After that though, there is not much clear consensus. Hampton’s Chargers landing spot has made him the consensus 1.02 but the Hunter/Tet/TreVeyon debate is real. In my mind Hunter has the most upside to be a generational talent and top 5 WR in dynasty that’s why have him at 3. Yes, the threat of Hunter playing too much corner and fighting with BTJ for targets are legitimate concerns. Tet is significantly safer given his year 1 role as Bryce Young’s WR1 and the fact that he’s a full time WR. I have no problem flip flopping the two depending on your risk tolerance.

I may be higher on TreVeyon than most but I think he’'ll thrive as a pass catcher out of the backfield and provide much needed juice to an ascending Patriot offense. An efficient Achane like rookie year is a real possibility in my mind. Ward’s draft capital and arm talent make him a safe mid round 1st and Quinshon was recently proclaimed a ‘bellcow’ by the Browns GM so it’s wheels up for him as well.

Impact Players abound but trail off after Tier C

Having the chance to nab two top 5 dynasty TEs in the mid/late portion of round 1 is tremendous. Additionally, Kaleb Johnson and RJ Harvey are the likely lead backs of their offenses and they will be going around the 1 - 2 turn in rookie drafts. I also like Jaxson Dart as a pick in the early 2nd for rebuilding teams given the high hit rate of first round QBs. Emeka Egbuka is another favorite of mine for rebuilding teams. His situation for immediate targets is bleak but in 2-3 years he could be Baker’s WR1 and a cornerstone dynasty WR given his college pedigree.

Luther Burden’s landing spot is off putting. He won’t be relevant for fantasy this year barring injury or trade imo. DJ Moore, Odunze and Loveland will eat first. That’s why I have jayden Higgins slightly ahead of Burden because situationally Higgins is better positioned for a year one role catching passes from CJ Stroud.

Tre Harris is a ‘my guy’ in this class. His 5.12 YPRR and YAC ability scream fantasy impact player. Now he will be catching passes from Justin Herbert and have Ladd McConkey drawing the majority of the attention. Harris will be one of my most drafted players in the early 2nd round especially on teams where I am WR needy. There’s a pretty steep decline in WR talent after Harris as well and i think his ceiling justifies his selection.

Skattebo and Tuten are two of my favorite picks in the mid 2nd round. They both will have the opportunity to earn the RB1 job in the shaky backfields they are joining. Skattebo’s toughness and ridiculous analytical profile could see him shine at the next level and I can see him relegating Tracy to a secondary role. Tuten’s explosiveness could unseat Etienne assuming he gets the fumbles under control.

Hope you enjoyed this brief primer on my rookie tiers! I created this using my tool and I promise this is the last time I’ll pitch my readers on it. I’ve decided to offer it close to at cost because I want to get it in as many people’s hands as possible to assist with rookie drafts this weekend. It will help you with your draft having a one tab command center.
